Anyone else triggered by that Snapchat “flu fighters” story?
Basically it showed the outbreak and dirastic methods people are taking to stay clean
I know it’s meant to be funny but my ocd brain sees these things and thinks “hey maybe it’s reasonable to spray everyone down with Lysol before they enter the house and because you haven’t done that you’re definitely going to get s* f*. Might as well start panicking and stop eating now”
I guess I’m asking: how do you all deal with figuring out what’s “normal” precautions and what’s actually hurting you more in the long run? Or how do you deal with silly things like this triggering you?

I don’t use social media, but my words of advice are that people think everything is funny. People can joke about trying to avoid catching the flu just like they can joke about v. I’d suggest taking a couple days away from social media. Do whatever habits make you feel safe despite if others find it funny.
