I was standing in the breakroom talking to an employee when a random intense wave of panic, faintness and anxiety came over me like it felt like it hit me like a brick wall and the back of my throat tightened up and I felt like I could pass out and get sick all of the sudden! I was completely fine before that. I lied and said I was getting a phone call and ran out of there, as soon as I went outside I felt a bit better... I am on my lunch sitting in my car now. Still a little shaky, what was that?! It's happened before but not in a very long time. It came without warning! I'm having some mild anxiety right now just thinking about it and worrying it will happen again! Has this ever happened to you? I've had things like this happen when my blood sugar was very low, but that wasn't the case today because I had eaten about an hour prior.
I really just want to go crawl in my bed where I'm safe and happy!

About 3 summers ago this happened to me in a grocery store exactly like how you described. It was about 2 min after I waked in, and the only cause that could possibly make any sense is overheating because I felt better after I sat on the ledge of the veggie thing where they mist them and keep them cool. I think that I could've actually fainted if I didn't fight the faintness (is that a word?) and the n! The next few days after that I spent very worried, but it didn't happen again. Hope this story helps but sorry U isn't now what happened at all

Thanks Jess for sharing your story. It was super hot that day so I may have been overheated as well! I haven't had it happen since, but it's always in the back of my mind that it could happen again!
