I've been doing relatively good for awhile, and anxiety hasn't been too bad. Lately however my IBS has flared up, and so has my anxiety. I've had several panic attacks just the past days. I was supposed to go shopping with my parents today, but since I woke up having to use the toilet, I don't dare go after all. Additionally my parants are going away for vacation for two weeks, so I won't be able to talk to my mom if I feel bad.
I just feel so miserable because of this phobia and I don't know what to do. :-(

Oh, no. I ate some chocolate, but realized I had forgotten to take my lactase tablets. I'm not gonna notice before tomorrow or the day after, but I'm already panicking about it. :-(

Can you take a tablet now anyway? It could still help?

I took the tablet a few minutes after I ate the chocolate, but it probably won't help, because the tablet should be ingested before the lactose products, not after. But I didn't eat a whole lot, so I hope it won't be too bad.

I have a friend who is lactose intolerant and had dairy in an "unsafe" way. It was before a performance, and she felt bad beforehand but was fine by the performance later that day. Things like that may clear up quicker than you think. You never know! You may be lucky and recover fast
