So, in my sons school before Christmas there was a few kids off here and there with some sort of sv*. My son had a night of saying he felt like he was going to v* and he was really pale. He didn't v* in the end he just wasn't himself for a couple of days.
Roll forward to this week when the kids have just started back after a week off. On Monday a couple of kids in the class above my sons had been sent home poorly, Tuesday 7 kids were out of one class, and today 11 kids are off. All v* some with d*. My sister works at the school so I get all this info. The teacher told me sister she had never had so many kids off at once! Rumour has it they have all been to a party and picked something up there.
However, one of the kids a couple of classes above has been off with s* and her sister who is in my sons class wasn't in school today because she had been v* also!! Two people who didn't attend the party.
Now if it was just confined to one class I probably wouldn't be too bad if I had heard it was from a party, however because there are more people off three days in and kids from other classes have it I am now of course thinking this is norovirus, caught from the food at the party!!!! Help me! I can't go through all this again!

Oh no, that sounds terrible. Good news is, it sounds like your son fights the virus off pretty well!! Keep reminding yourself that he didn't v last time and HOPEFULLY it was noro last time so if he is exposed his immune system will fight it off.
On another note, doesn't it rock you off that ONE stupid and careless idiot has caused such a outbreak!?! It really aggravates me when parents or individuals are so careless and disrespectful!
Try not to panic too much. Remember your son is around germs every day and doesn't get sick every day. Or think how many times there have been outbreaks in the school and he escapes them! Try to think positive 😊

It seems a bit more aggressive than last years. Last year it was one or two kids every few days.
I hate this! Roll on summer, I know noro can still do the rounds in summer but it's not as Prevalent!
He managed to avoid it when he was at nursery but he was only there twice a week for 3 years.
Do kids have to get SV* every year or can they escape it more often than I think? I feel like once noro is in school it will affect every single person xx
