I don't know if this is the right community to ask this question in, but I'm assuming it's a fairly universal issue!
So, over the years, I've tried so many thing to keep me on schedule. One of those that (sort of, it's the best I've found) worked was to put alarms on my phone at the times to do things and label them with instructions. For example, each morning at 7:20am an alarm goes off telling me to walk my dog. At first I read it and either did it or snoozed it, and eventually did it. Now it's gotten to where I turn off the alarms (not snooze) without even realizing. Somehow I managed to train myself to completely ignore prompts to do things.
Does anyone know how I could reverse this process or have suggestions for a new strategy? I have HORRIBLE time organization and procrastinate everything from assignments to showering, making me chronically late (sometimes I just don't do things, and recently I've been ~30 minutes late to school every day) and quite stressed out about my life skills. If anyone else has this problems I'd LOVE to hear your stories and commiserate a bit!

I set two alarms. Fifteen min. Apart. It helps. I always wake up for the first one, but sometimes I fall back asleep, hence alarm number two. Might help you to set 2. Or change up the tone!

I have 7 different alarms, each with a different noise. Also, waking up isn't the issue, it's listening to what the alarms are telling me to do

There was a time where I would set an alarm to go off every 5 min for half an hour, and it worked. I never listened to the first one, but after that I got annoyed with them going off every 5 min so I just did what I had to do and then I could let myself shut them off.
