Hi all - this will probably be a bit of silly question but what the heck. I recently purchased a set of plastic molding trays for teeth whitening treatments from Ebay. I expected them to be in a box but they came in a plastic bag that someone packaged them in before shipping to me. The thought kind of skeeves me out but I am thinking I may try boiling them before actually doing the molding process and putting the things in my mouth. How long would I have to boil them for to kill any potential sv* germs? Some places say as low as 3 minutes....some people say 20? Or should I just throw them out and not take the risk? Thanks!

What ck41 said. Isn't boiling them part of the molding process? I know it is when my son gets a new mouthguard for sports. We have to put it in boiling water to soften it and then mold it to his mouth. btw....that would give me the skeevies too!! Not sure what I would do....
