This is the third time in just a couple months that I woke up in the middle of the night feeling unwell. At first I confuse it for hunger but as I try to fall back asleep the n* really shines through. I took some Nauzene and I'm using Sea-bands as well as drinking ginger ale and I still feel bleh. What should I do? Edit: Forgot to mention I have some d*

Sometimes our nerves could get the better of us. Perhaps your stomach is just jumpy?
How're you feeling now?

If this is the third time in a few months that this has happened, it's almost definitely anxiety. Anxiety has woken me up in the middle of the night before too and it makes me feel n.* I just have to take deep breaths, remind myself that it's anxiety, calm myself down, and within a few minutes I always fall back asleep. Anxiety can be so powerful and convincing sometimes, it can even cause an upset stomach :/ I hope you're feeling better!

Thank you everyone. I do feel better now. I had an episode that I came close then the n* just disappeared. It's not helping that I got the flu so I'm not sleeping well to begin with. ^_^

Could it have been postnasal drip? That stuff is awful. Can cause n*.

Yep, post nasal drip definitely can. I think it can cause d* too. I had it real bad before Xmas (post nasal drip) and ended up with n* and d*

I didn't think of that. Probably was since I was sleeping and had no n* and d* beforehand. Thank you guys.

This is bizarre! I had the same experience last night, as did a friend of mine and another person I know. Maybe aliens! Anyway, good that you're feeling better now

I woke up not feeling well. The n* got worse and at around an hour and a half in it just.. stopped completely. I stayed up a little longer to make sure I was in the clear but man how rude to wake us up like that!

It continues to surprise me that anxiety can feel so awful and scary and be this convincing. The amount of times I've been sure I was sick when in reality I was just panicking is more than I can count.
