I was last sick...: I V* quite often now

Does anyone have the fear of going to amusement parks in fear of seeing people v*? I fear seeing it there, but I never get sick from riding rides myself. I have been close on this one ride that felt like a washing machine. I get a season pass each year to the amusement park in my state and with my phobia being so bad I don't know if I should do it anymore.

You should do it if you love it, imo. Push through the fear, and enjoy yourself. It'll be some really fun therapy! I've never seen anyone v* at an amusement park. Not like I have been to many, but...I say go for it!

Not like I have been to many, but...I say go for it! I worked at said amusement park for a day, quit after seeing someone v* while I was working. I was in the games and didn't think I'd encounter the v*. I've seen v* a couple other times there. I go there 3-5 times per year. (I even stepped in some) I try to calm myself by telling myself that it's not contagious v*, it somewhat helps but to me anything that's v* still freaks me out (unless it's baby spit up)

Yeah, I understand. I think the more we are around it, the better, to a certain extent. "Exposure therapy" or whatever. I guess you just have to think about what you'd wish you had done. Not to be morbid, but when you've lived your long life, and you're at the end of it, would you wish you'd gone to more amusement parks? I know I would always wish that!

I rarely go to amusement parks. Spring 2016 I went on a band trip to one, then spring of 5th grade I went on a band trip to a different one (there are two in the area). In summer 2015 I went to the one I went to in 5th grade with three friends. When I was a kid I went more, and then I did enjoy the kiddie rides. But as I got older and my fear of v* intensified exponentially, I stopped going on most rides. I tell people "I'm not afraid of rides, I just don't like a machine having complete control of my body." It disappoints my father a little bit, but I don't give a shit what he thinks because 25% of the time he's an asshole. I always fear that somebody will v*, especially around me, at an amusement park, because I would definitely have a panic attack. Especially when I have to perform later on and if some band kid v*... the band would probably be losing one of the district's best instrumentalists. I almost told my band directed just in case, but didn't because I was afraid to. No adults, besides 1 teacher, know. That's why I won't let my mother come along and be a helper.
I know I personally can't deal with the v* at amusement parks. I've never seen it actively coming out of somebody there, but I've seen at least one pile almost every time, even just at fairs that I'm forced to go to and I hide under the company's bbq tent the whole time besides arriving in the morning, games, animals, and leaving in the dark. But it does sound Ike you've handled the park v* that you've encountered before! If it makes you happy to go, than tough it out and do it! In a way, it is like exposure. At the band trip last year, and the one in 5th grade, I even had fun!

I used to be afraid after watching my sister puke after getting off a ride, but I'm not anymore. I go to those places and ride the thrill rides I avoided for decades.

I love amusement parks! I haven't been to one in about two years, since I don't live near any, but I hope I can go to one this summer. I went to many amusement parks when I was around 6-8 years old, and though I got bad motion sickness at that age, rides never made me v* (not even the Dragon Coaster at Rye Playland, which is known to be pretty scary!)
