So, I've read SO many things about battling noro. My oldest is 5, and sucks her thumb. (Yes I've tried everything to kick her habit.. no luck) my 3 yr old, will gag and v* at a weird food texture. My 9 month old LOVES TO eat too much and gag told he v* also.
There was one website in particular (I don't know if I can post it), but she said to give your kids one legitimate teaspoon (like a metal one you eat with) of Apple Cider Vinegar, and a cup of 100% grape juice on an empty stomach. It should prevent or shorten the SV* from adhering to the stomach/symptoms.
I've used a small plastic shot glass from five below. Poured enough acv to fill bottom, then top off with grape juice. For my 3 yr old, I use a straw and ice. I reiterate every time she argues that it's too sour, that it will help her stop v* and she drinks it. For myself and my Lil 9 month old who's breastfed, I do daily probiotics.
If you're exposed to the sickness, up your dosage to 2 or 3 times a day. I've heard many good thinkgs from this, and I also hear great things about probiotics as well. Hope this gives parents some information to feel a little at ease.

yes, I swear by the (organic, unrefined 100% pure) concord grape juice. if ever the stomach bug is going around, I drink like 4 big glasses of it daily. it is the perfect PH that wards off the secondary response of V* when you get the bug. somehow it just works!!

I wish there was a pill form of grape juice!! LOL! I don't know that I could drink 3 glasses a day. It's interesting though how it helps with prevention!
