So, of course I have been dreading my weekend away with my husband incase any of us got ill or if anyone was ill on the plane.
Just boarding the plane on the way out and who joins us but what seemed like 100's of students between the ages of 14/16 I would say. Fan bloody tastic! All I could envisage was germs, there must have been at least one with the sv or who had had it within the last 48 hrs!
Trying to relax we got sat in our seats, there was a man sat in the window seat (to me he looked pale and ill) me in the middle and husband in the aisle seat, we had students all in front of us.
I finally chilled out about half hour in to the flight once man next to me was fast asleep and hadn't reached for s* bag at all. I guess he was just tired.
The flight attendants then started to move the trolley down the aisle, they got next to the seat behind us. There was a girl waiting behind it (right next to my husband) like she was just waiting to go the loo. I didn't think much of it, then suddenly her cheeks went out and she put her hand to her mouth. Before I could move my husband away she v*!!!!! I have never panicked so much in my life. Thankfully it didn't go on my husband (it got the lady across from him though). I made my husband turn to me out the way and I covered my face with my scarf. I cried and cried my husband was so sweet bless him. He said it was just juice, a lot of them had never flown before and she probably hadn't eaten anything with nerves and it had made her tummy unsettled. She came out of the toilet a minute later with her friend and she was smiling with rosy red cheeks so I am inclined to believe my husband. I saw her get off the plane and on to the bus (more than an hour later) and she didn't have a s* bag with her or anything and was standing normally she didn't 'look' ill.
That was on Friday morning and it is now Monday evening so I'm guessing she wasn't contagious, I can't stop picturing it though it's freaked me out!
I picked my son up from school this afternoon and one of the mums said another of the kids who my son is friends with is off with a sickness bug. I have text his mum and she said yes he was randomly s* on and off over the weekend but not constantly. He hasn't v* today. I asked if he was back tomorrow and she said yes as she's spoken to her friend who is a children's nurse and 24 hrs is ok after last v* but d* is 48. I don't know what to think! It's all too much!
