I'm pretty darn nearsighted, and as a result, I have glasses. I used to only wear them in class when I needed to see teh board, but this year I've just been wearing them all day every day. I've recently noticed that sometimes I feel nauseated and dizzy when wearing them... but not in general.
It's really hard to explain, bear with me...
Sometimes I'll look sideways or something like that and the edge of my glasses will get in my vision. The blurry edge makes my eyes automatically refocus, and when they realize they can't, they go back to normal. However, this creates a strange zoom in-zoom out effect that doesn't agree with my nausea sensor. I also can't quite explain what I mean by this but it's not just wearing glasses, theres more to it. Also, if I take them off, I feel somehow like the world is bigger and warmer and softer, which is sometimes relaxing but also is often very stressful, especially when my eyes try to focus but can't because they suck.
Does anyone else have issues with wearing glasses?

I think I know what you mean. I've always worn glasses, and I have one eye nearsighted and one eye farsighted. I've had the same narrow frames for 6 years, but I get the lenses changed. Sometimes I find that one or both of my eyes will start hurting, then I will start to get a small headache, then my stomach will start to feel a little bit n*. I can usually fix that by closing my eyes for a little bit or going into a dark room, and taking deep breaths. When I take my glasses off (like to swim because swimming is my sport/hobby and prescription googles are too expensive - goggles last a maximum of 1 year to a swimmer). When I flash my eyes to the side and see the rim, it doesn't really bother me that much, but if I did it really fast it would make me feel a small bit of n* from being out of focus so fast. Another quick closing of the eyes and deep breaths to fix that. Sometimes it's good to take your glasses off and close your eyes just because it gives your eyes a little bit of rest.
