Noro has been going around insanely where I live. A coworker came in Wednesday WITH THE FREAKING SYMPTOMS STILL HAPPENING. She left early and a coworker bleached the whole bathroom. After she bleached it and I held my bladder for six hours after she used it I gave in. I used paper towels to touch anything in there and held my breath and covered my nose with the side of my arm as to not breath in any lingering "particles"... I had to go back to work on Thursday and did not use the bathroom and was still careful. I have not had work since because of the holidays.
I've felt off and on n* since. 3 full days have passed since I've been in direct contact with anyone who has had it. Am I in the clear? Or is it a full week or two? I dread going into work Tuesday with all those germs again.

You would've felt it within 3 days. Sounds like you'll be fine

This season is horrible for noro, no doubt about that. I just wish people who are ill would just STAY HOME! But of course, they divided to go infect public places to help spread the sv. Anyway, you should be totally fine! If you are feeling really anxious because of the ill person, the anxiety itself can cause you to feel n*. Just take it easy and relax, and if it makes you too anxious then don't use the bathroom at work on Tuesday. Remember that the bathroom was cleaned though and is, in fact, safe, just in case you really need it.

Sounds like you're in the clear, could the off and on n* be anxiety about a stomach virus? I know when I get anxious about sv and n* it will make me n*. Good news is another coworker seriously cleaned the bathroom, so it's safe to use!

You should be safe after this period of time. You are anxious and that is contributing to how you feel. I completely understand your thoughts. If I was in your situation I would not want to go into that bathroom tomorrow either. Part of our fear is irrational when it comes to situations like that.

You all are the best thank you. This was really helpful. My stomach hurts and I feel n* right now but I am not panicking.
