So it was all going ok. I had drama a couple of weeks ago with my mother in law getting noro when she was away. I was convinced we'd all get it but thankfully she didn't bring it home.
However, my son has come home from school today saying one of the girls went home feeling n* and another kid went home with tummy ache. Another 3 were also off.
I am friends with 4 of their mums so naturally I've text them. The girl that went home v* once. The other 3 aren't really ill - 2 are on holiday and one had a headache and temp last night. I would probably feel a bit calmer and put it down to the v* girl being overheated (hot day today for the first time in ages) but since my son told me one of the other kids went home with tummy ache I can't settle as I don't have his mums number to see if he's actually v*) well I do but we're not close so would be weird if I text). Im guessing he's genuinely poorly as school don't often send kids home with sore tummies as at their age they seem to have them a lot. I'm in bits again and my husband isn't talking to me.
I'm convinced this is noro doing the rounds and we're pretty much doomed. Starts with these 2 and before you know it the whole class are affected. I can't cope with this anymore it's not even winter I thought I was over this hell! Someone please help would anyone feel the same as me or am I being dramatic? What are the chances of. Is being noro?

Kids are ill all the time. I don't know the age of your son, but I'm guessing him and his classmates are still pretty young, and younger kids v a lot more than adults and teens. True, it's possible that he might have caught something, but it's not winter so it's not sv season, even though sv's can happen all year long. Maybe the CDC has updated Norostat, idk. But even without statistics we can tell that the # of cases has gone down now that it's spring. Just rememeber that v is a common, normal thing in young people. They have a weaker immune system, but the also have weaker bodies in general. Remind your son to stay clean, make sure everybody (him especially) washes up once home, and try not to worry because the chances are slim.

Thank you Jess!
They are 5 and 6 (my son is 6).
It turns out the girl who v* Monday had tonsillitis (she just v* the once). The other boy who went home with tummy ache still hasn't come back to school 2 days on. One kid didn't come to school yesterday and wasn't back today (but he's off a lot) and another kid wasn't there today (who also seems to have a few days off). There are more kids off but some are on holiday, our kids break up tomorrow for a week so I'm hoping all of the ones that are off are also just away somewhere rather then ill (hopefully).

That's likely the case. It's good that you found out the cause of the girl who v! Things should be back to normal after the break!
