So, I had a drama with my mil getting norovirus while she was away last week. As time goes by I'm feeling slightly more relaxed.
However, this morning the girl I sit next to at work said she felt really really n*. She had v* twice that morning (she does every morning as she has a health issue) so she thought it was that. However, the n* didn't ease like normal and she's been having cramps. She said she didn't feel ill as such just really n* no fever or anything.
She went home from work and I have been texting her in the day. She has had a hectic weekend (she is a responder and had to deal with her first death on Friday) she has been on call all weekend and hardly slept. She also came on her period this morning and she put it down to that too as she's bleeding quite heavily and hasn't had a proper period in almost a year. I thought she was just drained.
However, she has just text me to say she now has d* so this is clearly noro! For goodness sake is there no escape! I have been sat next to her and also touching paper that she has touched. I have no hope now and neither does the rest of the office because they have all been touching her computer/paper/doorhandles etc.
I feel doomed!!!!! Sorry for the second meltdown in such a short space of time but this is ridiculous! I know she wouldn't have come in if she thought she had a bug but she just thought it was her normal v*
She said she didn't feel great starting last night so I'm hoping it's not noro as I know with noro symptoms don't seem to hang about x

If she hasn't had her period in a while, the d* could definitely be from that. I get d* from my period sometimes and if her body isn't used to having a period, I could see how it might react with some digestive system distress. Same with the persistent n*.
It doesn't really sound like noro to me, but a woman with a health issue who is also dealing with gross period feelings and symptoms at the same time.

D* is common with period. The reason for this is that the very same hormones that cause the uterus to cramp up to release uterine lining are not super accurate. They can affect the intestines, too...and cause them to shed....other...things. . It's quite common.
