I texted my lab partner to see how she did on her exam today and she told me she didn't take it because she got really really sick on Thursday and went to ER on Friday because of dehydration! She said she woke up and the room was spinning and she must have passed out because she woke up again on the floor... she was super dizzy and just v non stop until she went to ER. She said today she is finally feeling better. So obviously I'm terrified and have to see her Tuesday again... I'm glad she's feeling better and our professor is allowing her to take the exam Monday.
She said she didn't know if it was Fp or viral or what... but tthe doctor thought it sounded like vertigo and that caused her to v. So I'm like okay what do you do to make sure that never happens again? She said there's really not much she can do and she did have a lot of drainage lately.
I'm not super worried about catching it from her but I'm worried something that bad is going around! And if it was vertigo from drainage that freaks me out too, I get that all the time. Either way it's scary!!!

Try not to think too hard on it. Your anxiety will go down if you spend less time thinking about it. I know, that sounds terrifying! Hearing of horrible things can make us so anxious even if we're safe! Just try to keep it out of your thoughts and do things that keep your mind preoccupied. Listening to music is good for this! So are puzzles and other things, like coloring. Try what you like and don't think about it!

Thanks for the reply she was fine when I saw her Tuesday she said she still didn't know what caused it, but her bf didn't catch anything and they live together so I assume it's not contagious. Whew! BUT one of the supervisors at my work came down with some stomach viral thing this week so I just can't catch a break! 😞

Just keep yourself snaitary regardless, and you'll be okay. And remember, just because one person has a virus does not mean everybody else will catch it. Those cases are extremely rare and are the result of very unsanitary conditions.
