Sitting at work and all of the sudden had a loose bm, now I'm freaking out! I never have diarrhea.. so I'm shaking and freaking out. I had Popeyes red beans and rice last night that had sat out for about an hour. Was that it??? I'm so afraid it will happen again and that I'm sick! I work an hour from home I really don't want to have to go home. It's my fourth week at my new job. I haven't had any issues like this for a very long time. So đŠ worried please help!!!

When I eat a lot of rice I will have loose Bms. My body doesn't like it. Not to be tmi, but is it loose and green but normal smelling, or is it was it weird and watery? Green but relatively normal smelling is probably the rice...green usually means that your body passed it through too fast, and doesn't always mean you're sick.

It was normal color, smellier than normal bm. I took a Sudafed and drank coffee so maybe all those stimulants caused it idk. My stomach feels kind of normal, hungry, I'm just so afraid of having more d*. I'm feeling n but it feels like it's mostly just from anxiety. I really hate working and being so far from home when this kind of thing happens, home is my safe place! I don't know of any bugs going around right now... I took an Ativan to calm down I'm on my lunch, its making me sleepy. Ugh. Hate this phobia so much!!! Thank you for your reply!

I think it's the food. If it was something else your tummy would tell you. Be brave! you got this!

Beans make you poop...lots of fiber. I would bet that's all it is.

It might be all the fibre in the food you ate

I barely ate 3/4 cup of the beans and rice, I don't think it was from fiber. Still not sure what happened but I haven't had any more problems... I still don't trust my gut 100% still feeling a tad off. Im exhausted tonight and slightly nervous this is me getting sick. But I didn't sleep well last night.

Could be that you got a twinge of something weird from the food...something your body didn't like. It happens more than you think! Could be an Intolerance, could have been improperly cooked or held... (It is rare that it becomes full-blown fp, though....). Often it just moves on out faster than normal, and most people don't even really notice...
