About 2 hours ago I had a sandwich from a local coffee shop and an iced coffee. I also had a donut about 30 mins after. right after I ate the donut my stomach felt rumbly and I had a loose bowel movement. I've had 3 BM's since then but non watery. I'm so terrified that this is FP*. Could it be the coffee thats causing this? I'm so scared.

Do you have any pain or feel poorly?
Coffee can definitely make you poop! I suffer IBS probably caused by anxiety but certain things make my bowel movements looser (sorry tmi) and coffee is one of them. i have googled it before about coffee and it seems I'm not the only one, even seems to affect those who don't have IBS

And I feel kinda hot but I can't tell if it's just anxiety thats causing it. I still feel like I have to /go/ even though I've had 3 bowel movements.

I'm only asking as I know when I had food poisoning (campylobacter specifically) the pain was horrendous also the d* was watery and I felt dreadful - I didn't v* though which was a good part!
Yes the feeling hot could be anxiety but so could the loose stools.
What sandwich did you have?

Yes the feeling hot could be anxiety but so could the loose stools. What sandwich did you have? Thank you for keeping up with me. There's really no pain, just some discomfort. The d* hasn't been watery, not very loose either. (Sorry if that's tmi, also). It was a chicken sandwich which is the main reason I'm concerned about FP. The nausea has been coming in waves but so far pretty mild. If I have gotten most of this out of me, am' I less likely to V*?

The d* has stopped but I still feel pretty gross. I've taken 2mg of xanax to help me relax but i'm still very anxious about the possibility of v*. Has anyone here V* before, and were you able to recover? I'm worried it might traumatize me.

I think you should be ok now. It may well have been the chicken but if it's food poisoning it's only a very mild case or a mild bug or something. I think when you have d* it can make you feel n* anyway even if not ill.
I have v* before plenty of times. I v* everyday during my pregnancy and I have also had other things make me v*, it isn't traumatising if any thing it's a relief to get the n* feeling away if only for a short while. However, it still doesn't stop me fretting about it and my emet is worse this year than it's ever been! I wish I knew why, to be honest I think like most it's the anticipation of it that is the most terrifying and not knowing how long it will go on for.
When I was pregnant I started to notice a pattern so I could cope with that as I knew when it would happen and how long it would last. I think the longest I v* for was 12-14 hours and that was the only one I thought would never end but it obviously does! D* always last longer than v* though apparently.
How are you feeling now?
