Hi,
I read a lot of things online about activated charcoal being good to take to absorb toxins in your body. Has anyone ever taken this with success of warding off norovirus?
One of the blogs I read a woman took this while taking care of her family who was sick with noro and she managed to not get it. She referenced another time where she did contract noro without taking activated charcoal
Seems like a worthy investment. Thoughts?

I love activated charcoal!! I have ibs so I use it for nausea all the time. As far as noro goes I'm not sure if it works but there are a lot of people out there who claim it does. One time I believe I had food poisoning (old lunch meat). I was sweating, nauseous and had bad stomach cramps. I took 5 capsules and within 15mins I was totally fine. Just be aware that it will absorb anything in the body (vitamins, medications)

Where do you buy them? I've tried everywhere I can think of: CVS, Rite-Aid, Giant...

I love this stuff, we use it for any tummy ailments before I got pregnant. When we lived with my in laws a stomach virus went through the house and I took activated charcoal and managed to not get it.
