Help me!!
My husband has come down with a bit of a cold today, he's been stressed out and run down and to top it off he's had some bad news about work. He went out to the pub for a couple of pints at 7.30pm and he was home by 10. However, he seemed quite drunk considering he hadn't been out long. He ate a Chinese and was complaining he was drunk and tired so we went to bed. It's now nearly midnight and he has just got out of bed, he switched the light on which he doesn't usually do if he just nips to the loo so of course I panicked. Next thing I hear was him v*! Aaargh!!!
After what seemed like forever he came back to bed and I wrapped a scarf round my face and went bleaching the bathroom. He says he feels better but I can't help but think it's a bug especially with him sneezing so much today - noro?
I, on the other hand, have set up a fort downstairs for myself and my son to sleep in. We are now downstairs, my son is fast asleep and of course I am wide awake panicking and listening for more noises. I'm shaking and my heart is going. I pray that this is just a combo of the alcohol and the stress. He hasn't v* from alcohol for so long which is why I am worried

I highly doubt it is Noro Drinking a lot in a short time period is a shock to the system and can lead to v* I know you are anxious as that is normal for us emets but I don't think it is necessary to full on panic. Just try to sleep if you can

Thank you. I've got relaxing rain sounds playing on Spotify and I'm hoping it will start to calm me down!
My son is concerning me too as he had bad wind this morning, he went to the loo and it was normal but so smelly, since then though every bit of wind he has had has been awful. He's laid next to me now and he's done it another couple of times. They smell gross like sulphur. Wouldn't have worried if I didn't read that noro can sometimes start with bad smelling wind. Goodness sake this is ridiculous I'm a 33 year old mother I shouldn't be in this mess! Why am I getting worse the older I get! 😩

I didn't know that noro could start with bad farts However, and I hope this makes you laugh, if my husband had noro everytime he has terrible farts, he would constantly have noro lol
There are many reasons for smelly farts, noro probably being one of the least common; )
How is everyone now?

Well that's true, unfortunately my husband is notorious for his windy bottom! On our very first date we bumped in to one of his friends and the first thing his friend asked me was whether I had experienced his farts yet! Haha
Everything is ok today thankfully. Husband woke up feeling ok just a little hungover and then he went off to work. x
Work is so so, he's a fireman but there is someone in the service who seems to be getting in the way of my husband progressing and he has no valid reason to do so. Some people can be quite nasty.
It will all work out in the end. I'm just so tired, things got to me way too badly last night I'm hoping I get a good nights sleep tonight and my emotions are back in check tomorrow!
Thank you! 😊
