Hey everyone,
I hope you are having a great day. I'm freaking out a little bit because yesterday there was a puddle of v* outside of my job yesterday. I didn't hear of anyone being sick at work but we do have student workers that come in at nighttime so it could've been one of them and I know they've been passing something around since their supervisor had a sv*. We also had a conference yesterday at our building and there were a lot of outsiders in our building. I have two questions:
I had a weird encounter in the bathroom with one of the random people in which when I got into the bathroom she was near the sink then she rushed into the big stall at the end and picked up something (she was a police officer so she had a lot of gear) then she flushed the toilet and left. I didn't smell anything weird but maybe she was the mystery vomitter yesterday. If she v in the bathroom then flushed it while I was in there could I get sick from this?
Then about the puddle of v. My boss helped me take home a desk yesterday and this desk was sitting outside in his open trailer attachment and was about 15-20 feet away from the puddle. If the wind was blowing could this make the particles become aerosoled and get on the desk?
I woke up this morning with a bubbly stomach and loose stools and I'm not sure why. I'm freaking out it might be a sv coming on or something. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Your symptoms could be from anxiety. I don't think that the puddle of v could get you sick from that far away...and as long as you've been washing your hands before eating, etc, you should be fine!
How are you feeling now?

Odd that you'd find a v* puddle outside of an office, so perhaps something was wrong with one of the people who have recently visited the building. That encounter with the police office does seem very strange. It is possible that she was in there v*ing and she ran to flush the toilet because he didn't flush it right after she v*, but maybe she just had a bm or something and didn't want you to smell it. There are so many possibilities that it's unlikely. Possible but unlikely. As for the desk, that is far enough away that it shouldn't have gotten any particles on it. Mysterious V* puddles may seem very scary, but just remember that they are not a threat. What you're feeling could by due to you panicking over this and/or a number of other things. If you were clean within the building (becaus the ill person was most likely inside at some point) then you should be fine!

Thank you both for your responses. My stomach feels a little better now than it did this morning. Still a little bubbly and noisy. I'm mostly concerned about the desk since it's now my husbands desk and while he washes his hands before he eats, his hand washing is nothing like mine lol. I suppose only time will tell if something comes of this. And now I can't even remember if the lady cop did in fact flush the toilet or if she just went into the stall to pick up her things. It just threw me off that she went back into the stalll and picked something up. But the room didn't have that just v* or pooped smellso who knows.

You'll be okay. Since it was outside, the particles from whoever was sick would have instantly been dissipated, and your desk a few feet away definitely wouldn't have come in contact with any of it. Also, as long as you didn't directly touch a surface the sick person did and stuck your hand in your mouth right away, you won't catch anything! Remember, the virus isn't airborne. And I am 99% sure that's your stomach issues are from anxiety, because that's definitely what happens to me when I'm nervous. Just keep breathing, it will pass!

No way can you get ill from either encounter.

Back in November I was heading somewhere with my boyfriend and there was a v* puddle outside the entrance where we needed to go. It didn't help my anxiety but neither of us got sick or anything. You're good.

Random puddles of V are the worst. When I see them, I try to remind myself that they are not a threat, although they ALWAYS make me anxious too. And I've also worried about the wind possibly aerosolizing the particles and blowing them into my face or body, so I definitely sympathize with that as well.
