Please help me! I'm literally freaking out right now and I don't know what to do with myself. I was walking earlier with my mum and we passed a huge pool of V* in the street. I actually smelled it as we walked by. Therefore it must've been fresh - sorry for TMI. It was in a busy area of Paris near Notre Dame and there were loads of people emerging from a recent service in the church. The whole place was busy - but nobody was drunk or anything so it couldn't have been THAT kind of V*. Which makes me think...uh huh. An SV*. I was only 2 feet (less than 1 metre away) and my mum was only one foot away! Am I at risk of SV* now? Because of the aerosolic particles and because it was so new? Should I change all my clothes now? Please help me! I'm genuinely terrified now. Is my mum safe too? I'm hoping the wind (only a slight breeze though...) will have dispersed the particles before we arrived? Thanks in advance guys xxx

You and your mom will definitely be fine, and you don't need to change your clothes either! You can't get a sv* from being near v* unless someone infected v*s right in front of you. I live in New York City, and I have walked by numerous piles of v* in my life- in fact, it doesn't surprise me anymore to see random piles of v* as I walk down the street. I have never gotten a sv* from this.
