Three days ago, I contacted somebody with connections to the admin who claimed that they would contact the admin. Now word yet.

Hopefully it'll be back online soon, I know it's a lifeline for many of us

Sadly this happens every few months in some form. Sometimes you can't even get onto the site at all. It's a shame the owner and admins don't really care about the site or any of us (probably just the money they make by hosting the site.)
To be honest, we'd all be better off to continue on a separate forum such as this one rather than return to IES where this will continue to happen.

I have not seen this happen before. Strange how it is so random. Perhaps the owners/admins stopped paying for the IES forum and then V-Bulletin shut it down. Still no word. The IES is a lifeline and they need to bring it back. I need it in my life. If I hear nothing back by the weekend I will attempt to contact the admin's friend again.

Let's just hope it gets fixed soon! But amanda is right, it happens all the time... I've never seen it in this form though, usually I can't even get on the site.

If things made the IES go down in the past then maybe there will be a better chance for an easy fix. However, over a week of no admin activity after they have been CONTACTED is scary. The holidays make my anxiety worse because of all the family drama and foods.

Yes, I've wondered if it has to do with a lapse in payment as well. Weird that we can see the forum just not the messages though. I've also been able to read the public boards messages too but whenever I'm logged in I can't open any posts. Not sure what would cause that.

I'm having the same issue, amanda. If I sign out I can open the threads no prbolem. When I'm signed in however, the error page comes up.

I know they haven't. Their friend was on once in the past year but I used their email to contact them and they replied within 12 hours. They don't have any control, though. It's up to the admin. Do you think that perhaps we could use our money to keep the site running if the v bulletin lets us?

Here you guys are! I got a little lost along the way but I found the party! I bought the cookies PS: Does anyone remember what happened to Sage? Who is the owner of IES? I thought she was, but I was never clear on the logistics of that place. Just that it was hopping years ago.
