Hey all,
This is the first time I've had to post something in years because of emet but I'm in need of some reassurance right now.
Yesterday was my birthday and i went out with a few people. I was pretty drunk of course. With that being said, I drank after my friend who was s* with the sv* a 7 days ago and now I'm FREAKING OUT about getting it. Will i be ok? is that enough time for her to not be contagious or what??? someone please respond

The chances are very very slim. First of all, imagine all the times she has brushed her teeth since her last V* episode. you can only contract the SV* via particles. She was more than likely wearing clean clothes and has bathed since her V* episodes too, so no chance of getting SV* particles from her body. Was the drink alcoholic?? That's enough to calm you right there. The alcohol would kill any germs. Also, SV* isn't transmitted via saliva, UNLESS there are V* particles in the person's mouth. Again, there isn't. I think you will be 100% fine

Very true. I forgot exactly how it was contracted so thank you for clearing that up. She hasn't been s* since that day so i should be ok.. thanks for the reassurance!
