I slipped up at school today. My friends had some graham crackers and I was an idiot and ate a few. They were in a bag and I poured some out into my hand but I didn't wash my hands first! My school is not the cleanest so I might be at risk! I'm very scared, because I always always wash my hands like 10 times a day, and this once I forgot! This was around noon today (it's 9pm now) so could I drink some miracle apple cider vinegar and be safe, or is it too late? Edit: I guess I should also say that I don't usually wash my hands at school because I don't usually eat there. I'll eat at home, starve for 7 hours until I get back, then wash my hands a whole whole bunch before eating something at home. Today I was just too hungry and had already had about 4 hours of no-hand-washing contact with school stuff, but I ate the crackers anyways.

You are going to be fine. If drinking apple cider vinegar will help you feel better, then absolutely do it, but I'm sure you'll be okay regardless. I panic when I eat with my hands too, but I always end up okay.
I also never used to wash my hands before I ate. All through middle school and high school, I would be at school all day and use the restroom and just rinse my hands with water, and then I would eat with my hands and not once during that time did anything ever happen. I actually continued this until last fall (my junior year in college) and was fine every single time. I only recently started washing my hands in the last year when my anxiety intensified (randomly too, not as a result of being exposed or anything like that), so just breathe and everything will be fine.

You'll be okay! It's not a good habit to get into but the chances of getting s* from just one time are really low. Think about how often non-emets do this and don't get sick (multiple times a day I'd say!)
