I keep having waves of n* but not normal anxiety type. I am trying to sleep but can't as when I am about to drop off the n* starts. Then I get panicked and sit up. Now it's almost 4am and I don't know what to do. Is this the start of an sv? !!!! Please someone help me. I don't know what to do I can't relax.

That's actually exactly how my anxiety nausea is! It's terrible! It jerks me right before I fall asleep. I always grab a cool wet towel and lay it over my forehead or neck. And if it's really bad, I put in my headphones and listen to calming music. Trust me, a sv would force you to run to the bathroom with d also. Just keep telling yourself that it's just anxiety. Maybe try to tell yourself a story in your mind. Get your mind off the anxiety and anxiety induced nausea.

Also if you have a portable fan, place it to where it will blow on you. That always helps me!!

I keep trying to tell myself that but it doesn't feel like anxious n* that's why I'm panicking. I don't know what to do. I'm scared to sleep now 😭 I haven't been sick in so long I don't know what it feels like so even the smallest spike and I start freaking out. Now I'm paranoid. I really don't want to v*!

Do you have any antiemetics you could take? If you think about food does it make you n? I'm sorry you are feeling this badly. I understand the panic and uncertainty 🙁

No I don't have any. I am chewing mints and slowly sipping water. And kind of but only because I feel n* and anxious I think. I don't know anymore. I am so paranoid.

Jane, are you having any other symptoms? Stomach pain, cramps, dizziness, D, headaches? I agree with Sami, does thinking of food make you more N?

How are you feeling now? Alot of times, from what I have heard people say, they feel very dizzy and get stomach cramps before they get ill. Everyone is different of course, but I do think of food when I feel sick (everyday), and if I am "ok" with that, I think it may just be anxiety--We are here if you need anything. BTW-many of us have waited years for IT to come, and it never did

No I just feel n*. I just wish I knew when it would be safe to sleep. I will feel anxious until I know a good amount of time has passed if you get me, so I know I am just anxious not sick. And thank you. That is true I must remember this.

Yes, I get anxious til a good amount of time has passed. Spent many nights up til 6am---I cannot sleep either when I feel Ill.

Oh no...I'm so sorry you're feeling like this. Have you been directly exposed to anyone with a sv* lately? (If you haven't, you probably don't have one.) I hope you don't have to get up early tomorrow so you can get some sleep- it always helps.
